Vendors Survey Social Studies Secondary Resources 2025-26, Due 11/26

Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) is seeking print and/or digital core instructional resources that are not only developed to meet the diverse needs of our students and teachers but also, fully aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence for 6-12 Social Studies. This alignment is a fundamental requirement for our selection process. 

Our plan is to conduct a thorough and comprehensive learning resource adoption during the 2025-2026 academic year, for implementation during the 2026-2027 academic year. This means that RCPS will not rush through the process. We believe that adequate time is needed to effectively vet all learning resources to ensure items are aligned with the content, best practices, and other expectations for powerful and authentic Social Studies teaching and learning experiences.  As a result, a pilot-to-adoption process may also be considered. 

Please complete the Vendor Survey (link below) before November 26, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. to be considered during our review of resources.    Any vendor selected will be notified no later than December 1, 2025.  At that  time, instructions for the next phase will be provided.
