 Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

It is an honor to continue serving as the principal of Flat Shoals Elementary School. After completing my first year, I am incredibly proud of the foundation we’ve built together. I look forward to building on that success, one brick at a time, as we continue creating a strong, supportive learning environment for every student.

This year’s theme, “Building on Success, One Brick at a Time,” reflects our commitment to steady growth, intentional progress, and the power of teamwork. Each of us—educators, families, and community members—plays an essential role in the success of our scholars. When we work together, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

Our school’s vision remains clear: to ensure all students reach their highest potential as lifelong learners and productive members of a global society. We are committed to fulfilling this vision by providing:

• A rigorous and engaging curriculum
• Enrichment opportunities that spark curiosity and creativity
• Support for our scholars' behavioral, emotional, and social development

As we begin this new school year, I encourage you to stay engaged and connected. Weekly Sunday evening phone calls and emails will provide updates and important information. These will also be posted on our FSE homepage. Your voice, partnership, and feedback are always welcome. Please reach out with any questions, concerns, or celebrations to share.
